Advancing Renewable Energy with Microgrids in Bangladesh

Have you ever wondered how renewable energy can be revolutionized with the exploitation of Microgrids in the landscape of Bangladesh? How the advancement of renewable energy impacts on the environment and the economic perspective of Bangladesh?

In contrast to the rising question from Bangladesh’s perspective and the energy situation, IEEE NSU Student Branch is organizing an event titled ‘’Advancing Renewable Energy with Microgrids in Bangladesh’’ on 27th July in collaboration with IEEE NSU Power and Energy Society Student Branch Chapter. This event aims to explore and exploit the potential of microgrids combined with renewable energy resources which can help revolutionize the energy landscape of Bangladesh.

Microgrid is an electrical system localized to a specific geographic area to supply electrical energy producing, consuming and allocating electricity to a local area. It often incorporates various sources of renewable energy like solar energy with the help of solar panels, wind energy via wind turbines, etc. This helps to save the non-renewable energy resources like coal and fuel and prevents the emission of greenhouse gasses. Microgrids are also very reliable as they can supply backup power efficiently and independently during power outages of the main grid. Join this event to learn more about microgrid technology and solve the blackout and carbon emission issue of Bangladesh.

This event will be intellectually stimulating and beneficial as the participants are expected to learn more about this revolutionizing technology to aid the nation from the power crisis.
