IEEE NSU Student Branch wishes the best to Dr. Lamia Iftekhar for being appointed as the Secretary of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, Bangladesh Chapter.
Dr. Lamia is an Associate Professor in the NSU ECE Department and the Faculty Advisor of the IEEE NSU RAS SBC.

Dr. Lamia has been equally active, cooperative, and has always extended warm access and guidance to members of the IEEE NSU Student Branch. This success has been achieved through active participation and contributions to the Bangladesh Section.

And, by conducting active research in her academic field and being approachable to her students, she has established herself as one of the best mentors.

Prof. Dr. Saifur Rahman is an IEEE Life Fellow and has served as the 2022 President-elect. With experience and serving in IEEE for over 40 years has immense contribution and engagement in all 10 regions coming across young minds in academics and professionals along with career and industry executives. Dr. Rahman also had an engagement with members and volunteers globally with the insights to advance in their professional careers.

Prof. Dr. Saifur Rahman also served as the 2018-19 President of the IEEE Power & Energy Society (IEEE PES) while also establishing IEEE PES Corporate Engagement Program. And with these immense contributions and milestones, we heartily congratulate Prof. Dr. Saifur Rahman on his new role as the President for 2023

The new year has arrived with the delightful news that our dearest Prof. Dr. Celia Shahnaz maam is now the Global Chair of IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE).

We, the IEEE North South University Student Branch(INSB), would like to share our heartiest congratulations to Prof. Celia Shahnaz, ma'am, on her colossal achievement, and we hope her journey continues ahead with more success.
Prof. Celia Shahnaz was the founder of the WIE affinity group in the Bangladesh Section, and later, she became the Region-10 (Asia-Pacific) WIE Coordinator. Moreover, ma'am was the former IEEE BDS Chair.
We wish you a glorious time leading the IEEE WIE around the globe.

এরই সাথে সবার জন্য একটি বিশেষ বার্তা। বর্তমান সময়ে করোনা এক ভীতির কারণ হলেও আপনার সচেতনতাই পারে আপনাকে, আপনার পরিবারকে এবং এই বাংলাদেশকে রক্ষা করতে। তাই নিজের জন্য এবং নিজ জাতির জন্য সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করুন এবং আইন মেনে চলে দেশপ্রেমের দৃষ্টান্ত স্থাপন করুন। নিজে সুস্থ থাকুন, বাসায় থাকুন এবং অন্যদের এই ব্যাপারে উৎসাহিত করুন।

On the occasion of National Mourning Day, with a heavy heart IEEE NSU Student Branch commemorate the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his 18 family members, who were brutally killed on the night of August 15, back in 1975.

On the Holy occasion of Eid Ul Adha as we celebrate the Hajj and sacrifices of the Muslims, IEEE NSU Student Branch hopes that every step of your journey in life be blessed by Allah and is filled with endless happiness.
