We are announcing "Intra IEEE NSU Student Branch Football Fiesta 2022" in celebration of IEEE Day 2022, which will take place at North South University on 18th October.
Exciting prizes await for the winning team and the runners up!!!!!

IEEE Day is an event celebrated worldwide. In 1884, all the IEEE members and engineers in the world gathered to share their innovative ideas which made this day memorable. This year's IEEE Day on 4th October marks the 13th anniversary of celebrating this renowned event. And to celebrate the global IEEE Day, IEEE NSU Student Branch is arranging a few events over the week on the theme “Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow.”

And as for the celebrations INSB is arranging 'Intra INSB Football Fiesta 2022'. All the INSB members are encouraged to participate in this event and enjoy the game of football and celebrate this day with unity.

The tournament will be group-wise: The teams will compete from the group stage, continuing semi-finals and lastly the finals. And it will be a one-day journey.

For payment, please follow the instructions below:

Rules:

• Regular FIFA rules (except off-side rule)
• 7 a side[10 man squad]
• Referee's call will be the final call
• Teams are asked to report 30 min before their match but must show up at least 15 minutes before their match.
• The last man standing keeper in the game time will have to stand keeper if the match stretches to penalties. No team will be allowed to change their keeper during a shoot-out.
• Teams will concede 1 goal for every 5min of delay. A team missing half of a match will be considered that they forfeited; thus, opposition will have a walkover.
• Rolling substitution system
• Once the entry fee is cleared no refunds will be made unless the tournament is canceled
• No one will be allowed to play barefooted.
• One team cannot have more than two Non-IEEE members in a squad.
• For each Non-IEEE member, an additional 150 taka must be paid.
• Teams are requested to wear the same colored jerseys.
• Teams can wear boots with spikes, and the playground is not made of concrete.
• No misconduct, slang words, sledding, or bad behavior will be tolerated.
• Strictly no smoking in the NSU premises.
• The organization holds complete power. They may overrule any decision if required.
• Everyone keep your NSU id card photocopy and submit it before the first match start.
