In the recent decade, the number of women in the power research field has managed to reach a generous number. Although there remains a big portion, who still do not have any idea about how women can contribute to the industrial revolution. There are a thousand female undergraduates who remain confused about their career choice in the power research sector.

Well, for this very reason, IEEE North South University Power and Energy Society Student Branch Chapter and IEEE North South University Women In Engineering Affinity group have arranged an event on “Women in Power Research and Industry” on 29th December. This event will focus on different aspects of technology and how it is influencing women in the power research sector. This event is specially designed for the female undergraduates to get a clear idea about how women can choose their career path in the industrial field and how they can upgrade themselves in the scientific research sector.

The speaker of the Webinar is none other than our Chair of IEEE Bangladesh Section, Dr. Celia Shahnaz. Ma'am will enlight us with her knowledge and experience and it will guide us to know the importance of the Women in Research and Industry field.
