Workshop on Basic Robotics and RC Robots
IEEE NSU Robotics and Automation Society Student Branch Chapter (IEEE NSU RAS SBC) in collaboration with IEEE NSU Student Branch is going to conduct a basic robotics workshop and competition, sponsored by Robodoc. Over the years, IEEE NSU RAS SBC has continually focused on enlightening students, aimed to produce explorers and ensured that the students are provided with the opportunities to explore, innovate, and learn in order to make themselves enthusiastic about robotics and automation. Therefore, IEEE NSU RAS wants to empower the students through an interactive workshop on Basic Robotics and Mobile Robot. At the end of the workshop, each participant will hopefully be capable of constructing a fully functional Mobile robot. Through this workshop, the participants will also get hands-on experience on the basics of robotics and an idea about how to start off with this interesting and revolutionary field.
All components necessary to build the robot will be provided to each group. Groups must be made up of 4 members and will register as a team, no more or no less, and if a group decides to participate with 3 or less members then they will still have to pay for the fee equivalent to that of a 4 member of group. After the workshop, there will be a competition between the groups to see who made the best robot in the workshop.
Cost: BDT 500/= (per member) for IEEE members
BDT 600/= (per member) for Non-IEEE members
