Initializing Your Journey towards Research

IEEE NSU Industry Applications Society Student Branch Chapter hosted a webinar on Sunday, 21st December 2020 AT 8:00 PM UTC+06 entitled “Initializing Your Journey towards Research “. The webinar was conducted by A K M Bahalul Haque, Lecturer, Department of ECE, North South University, and Faculty Advisor of IEEE NSU IAS SBC. This webinar was for all the Undergraduate students, Post Graduate students, Master’s students, alumni of all the universities. The webinar was focused on some essential points for the research journey. First of all, A K M Bahalul Haque sir talked about the necessity of research in both academic and jobs sectors. Then he spoke about the importance of selecting a subject or project of research. He also told me how to choose the subject or project also. He encouraged the participants to be more passionate about choosing and working on the research paper. The webinar also covered the most asked question, which is funding for research. Also, he explained the publication of research papers. His main focus was to get us introduced to the research field and research paper and also to clear some basic and experienced situations about a journey throughout the research. He gave the proper guidelines and instructions to write and approach a research paper. He explained the rules and regulations well. He also shared some experiences too so that the student gets to know more about the journey and gets inspired to research in future. The participants seemed very active and curious throughout the whole session. After the discussion, A K M Bahalul Haque sir answered all the questions and encouraged them to start thinking about research. He gave some valuable advice for the beginners as well. It was a significant and educational session for all. The participants really enjoyed the session. The entire session went very successfully.
