Higher Study in Germany: Course search and Application Process.
Higher Study is always fascinating. It broadens our knowledge, trains us to think more analytically, work professionally, communicate effectively, and build many work-related skills. This pandemic situation has made the process of pursuing a degree abroad more challenging and competitive. Which demands complete guidelines for this process. Keeping that in mind, IEEE NSU IAS Student Branch Chapter has organized a webinar on Higher Study in Germany: Course search and Application Process. A K M Bahalul Haque. Our honorable speaker has pursued his MSc in Information technology from Kiel University of Applied Sciences, Germany. He has a ton of experience about Germany, and its education system. Our honorable speaker started the session by explaining why we should choose Germany for Higher Study. The fascinating opportunity of internship in world’s prominent companies like Airbus, BMW opens up when a student chooses to study in Germany.
Then he portrayed some pros and cons of studying in Germany. Some pros are, almost no tuition fee, Social Security, employability, green and better life etc. On the contrary one of the nerve-wracking cons is, lingual barrier. But our speaker made it transparent that a lingual barrier will not hamper the study, since most of the Universities offer courses in both English and German language.
Later on, our speaker demonstrated how we can search our desired courses and choose University, then how to apply, how much will be the living cost, how to find accommodation, tips for motivation letters etc. He introduced a website called DAAD, where we can find courses and Universities, as well as we can complete our application process on this website. The whole session was really interactive. There was a Q/A session at the end of the webinar. Our honorable speaker answered all the questions asked by all the participants. The session ended at 9:30 PM.
