Electrical Safety Issue
The Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group(AG), IEEE NSU Student Branch took a great initiative to organize free technical workshop regarding Electrical Safety Issue (Thermography Scan and Earthing Test Measurement for Electrical System on-site) for North SOUTH University’s students on 7th February 2019 at 11:30 AM. This workshop was conducted by MS Alumni Advisory Board (MAAB) and sponsored by Green Power & Engineering, Green Event. Forty-five participants from NSU enthusiastically participated in this workshop. The purpose of organising the workshop was to provide knowledge about basic electrical safety, including Thermography scan and Earthing Test Measurement. There were 5 Instructors from MAAB who conducted the workshop. Md. Abdul Kayum was one of them, and he is the Founder and Chief Consultant (Electrical & Fire) and experienced in USGBC LEED Green Project. Engineer Md. Raihan Chowdhury and Saleh Abdullah have assisted him during the workshop. Mr Kayum and the whole team of MAAB immensely helped the students to learn about the electrical safety issues, and the event ended successfully.
