The new year has arrived with the delightful news that our dearest Prof. Dr. Celia Shahnaz ma’am is now the Global Chair of IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE).

We, IEEE North South University Student Branch(INSB), would like to share our heartiest congratulations to Prof. Celia Shahnaz, ma’am, on her colossal achievement, and we hope her journey continues ahead with more success.

Prof. Celia Shahnaz was the founder of the WIE affinity group in the Bangladesh Section, and later she became the Region-10 (Asia-Pacific) WIE Coordinator. Moreover, ma’am was the former IEEE BDS Chair.
